A Control Panel is area where you have full control of your domain. It allows you to create or delete sub-domains, MYSQL databases, POP3 email accounts, email aliases, email forwarders, and much more. Back to Top

2. If I already have a domain, can I transfer it from my current host and use you to host it?
Yes, simply contact our sales department for our DNS Settings that you'll need to provide your current host with. If you want to register your domain through our Domain Name Registration services, this is an entirely different process. First you need to make sure your domain is UNLOCKED with your current host. This can only take place if your domain is unlocked. For more information on this matter, please contact our sales department.

Yes, because we believe that you need the flexibility and freedom to create, we do allow SSI. To use SSI your page must have the .shtml extension.

14. If I transfer my domain, do you pay the registration fees?
There is no registration fee for domains that are already registered, unless the registration is up, in which case you will be responsible for paying all registrar fees. IDWEBHOSTING only pays for registration fees on certain domain extensions purchased through IDWEB-HOSTING. However, if your domain is about to expire, we recommend switching to our registrar as we offer some of the lowest registrar prices around. ALTHOUGH you will still be required to pay for all domain registrar fees.

Yes, you can host almost any domain extension that you would like with us.

17. How long does it take to get a domain working?
On average a new domain should be working in about than 24 hours, a domain that is moving to IDWEB-HOSTING takes about 48 hours on average. In any case if your domain is not working 48 hours after you have requested your domain to be transferred from your domain registrar, you should contact your IDWEB-HOSTING representative for an update.

20. How can I purchase upgrades for my account?
You may upgrade while purchasing your hosting plan which is the preferred method, especially if you know you'll need one of the upgrades. By doing that, it will all be combined into one invoice.
